FAQ

WHAT ARE YOUR WEEKEND SERVICES LIKE?

Each weekend at Clinton Community you’ll find a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with exciting, contemporary worship music and a Bible-based message that is both practical and relevant to your everyday life. We use a variety of creative elements in our worship that you will find entertaining and enjoyable while at the same time drawing you into the presence of Jesus Christ.

 HOW WILL I FIT IN?

When you come to Clinton Community, you will find a diverse group of people in age, ethnicity, and socio-economic status. In other words, you will find people just like you who face all the same challenges in life that you do; people who are looking for something more to fill their inner spiritual longing. We will provide you with the opportunity and the resources to grow in your faith and understanding of God’s plan for your life. Our focus is becoming a church where everyone can fit in even though we are all different.

WHAT DO I NEED TO WEAR?

Come as you are! We are interested in you – not your wardrobe. Many in our congregation wear jeans, some dress up a bit more, but overall we are casual in our dress.

 WHAT ABOUT MY CHILDREN?

We provide excellent childcare, called “Little Propellers” during all of our services. Our nursery workers are screened and trained with your child’s safety in mind. We provide pagers for families so that you can relax and enjoy the worship service while your child enjoys a rich and loving environment. We have an exciting Children’s Ministry called “Propel” for children ages 3-12, that meet during our 10:00am Sunday School hour and our 11:00am Worship Service.

IF I VISIT, WILL I BE SINGLED OUT AS A GUEST?

We will take a moment to say “welcome” to our guests, but nothing will be done that would embarrass you. For example, you will not be asked to stand or to say anything or otherwise be made to feel uncomfortable.

WILL I BE ASKED FOR MONEY?

No. Your gift to us is your presence with us!  In fact, we have a gift waiting for you at our Guest Services tent. Please stop by after the service to pick up your gift and information about the ministries we offer at Clinton Community. We do not harass our people for money and we would certainly not ask a newcomer to contribute financially to our ministry. Should you choose to give an offering, that is completely your decision.

WILL I BE CONTACTED OR PLACED ON A MAILING LIST?

We will not harass or stalk you after attending Clinton Community. But we would like the opportunity to say thanks for being our guest. The pastor customarily contacts first-time guests personally to thank them for attending. When you attend, you will be given a connect card that you can choose how much information you are willing to share with us. You do not have to turn it in, but we hope you would. The connection card is our way to pray for you by name and also celebrate you being our guest.
